Veteran’s Day celebration at Pawhuska Post #198 scheduled

American Legion Post #198 has scheduled their Veteran’s Day Celebration,
on November 11th.   They are located at 1448 West Main Street, in Pawhuska.

Members of American Legion Post #142
and Auxiliary Unit #142 are invited to attend.

This Veterans’ Day celebration is being dedicated to the late Maurice Hamilton,
American Legion Past Dept. of Oklahoma officer, and Past Post #198 Commander.  

The flag raising will be held at 11:00 a.m.
The invocation and individual songs will be at 1:30 p.m.
The evening meal will be held at 5:30 p.m.
War Dances will start at 7:30 p.m

Head Man Dancer will be veteran Walker Martin.
Head Lady Dancer will be Emma RedCorn,
–granddaughter of Andrew RedCorn, Past Post Commander.
Head Singer will be Russell Mashunkashey,
–son of John Henry Mashunkashey, Past Post Commander.

The program will also feature 2011 Princess, Rachel White,
–great granddaughter of Ed RedEagle, Past Post Commander
–and daughter of veteran Chris White.

Arena Directors will be Otto Hamilton and Lance Harden.
Master of Ceremonies will be Ed RedEagle.
