The Legion meeting was great last Thursday at the Hut. Steve Swinford did a great job running the show. I always get a kick out of fellowshipping with my fellow veterans. Though I enjoy everyone’s stories and poking fun with each other, invariably it is the more “seasoned” among our ranks and file that catch me off guard. Love was in the air for everyone who showed up for the Valentine’s Day Dinner with the Auxiliary on Friday. Sadly, my Valentine was under the weather. About twenty participated having a great time. Most everyone stayed around visiting, even after everything was over. As usual Jerry Sebert did a super job with the ribs and chicken. Thanks also to the Auxiliary members and spouses who brought the other sides and desserts in. Everything was very good. I heard a rumor that no MRE’s (Meal-Ready-to-Eat) were required or consumed!
