Well, the 7 February 2013 meeting was exceptional, capped off by a brief ceremony raising the new flag in front of the Hut.  How long has it been since I heard “Present Arms!” and “Order Arms!”?  It was a great feeling standing shoulder to shoulder with veterans ranging from WWII to modern day to respect our flag.  How many great experiences and meaningful contributions rested among this Band of Brothers?  Because of the level of humility of folks that “Just did my job.”  I don’t think anyone will ever know. Members attending last Thursday evening’s meeting were greeting by something new at the Post.  Some anonymous person (s) donated the materials and laborer to install a new storm door at the entrance to the Hut!  During the course of the meeting with the usual cast of characters: Commander Jim Frazier asked that if anyone was aware of who the mysterious donor was, please extend a big thank you on behalf of the Post.  I feel certain that happened.
