May is Poppy Month

The American Legion and Auxiliary recognizes May as Poppy month.   We urge people to wear a poppy during the month of May but especially on Memorial Day.

Donations are greatly appreciated.  The donations go to help veterans and their families.    Unit 142 will be celebrating Poppy Day on Friday, May 25th, and members are scheduled to meet at 11:00 am in front of Chad’s Diner and the Wild Country Meat Market, in Hominy.

Please drop by and support this program for veterans and their families.
