Wendell Curt Graham, 60, died on Monday, July 16, 2012.  Living in Skiatook, he was a long-time member of American Legion Post 142 of Hominy.

Wendell Graham was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma on August 5, 1951 to Ben and Ida (Goad) Graham. After attending Charles Page High School in Sand Springs, Graham joined the Army and served his country honorably in Vietnam.

Wendell was married to his wife Roben (Street) Graham, for thirty-seven years.

Graham was First Vice-Commander and an active member of the American Legion Post 142 in Hominy. An outgoing man, he enjoyed time with his family, which was of great importance to him….especially his grandchildren. Fishing, playing pool, watching Westerns and collecting Harley Davidson memorabilia were also favorite activities.

Wendell Graham is survived by his wife Roben of the home, his children; Jason Nance and wife Mary Beth of Delta, PA, Dewayne Graham and wife Jessica of Hominy, Kelly Lindon and husband Brian of Hallett, Shelly Graham and partner James Robinson of Hominy, LeeAnn Graham and partner Gary Sherler of Cameron, MO, Brian Graham and partner Danielle Gragg of Hominy, Melissa Graham of Skiatook, PFC Clayton Graham stationed at Fort Sill, and another son that he held close to his heart. He is also survived by his sister, Betty Bell of Inola; grandchildren, Jenny and Josiah Nance, Sarina, Zacheus, Jace, Miranda, and Isla Graham, Katlyn, Emily, and Lyndsie Lindon, Breanna and Megan Robinson, Vance Sherler, Aiden and Camerin Graham.

Preceding Wendell in death were his parents, his son Eric, and his grandchildren, Mason and Mikaela.

Viewing and visitation is scheduled for
Wednesday, July 18, 2012 from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
with the family receiving friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Funeral service is scheduled 10:00 a.m.,
Thursday, July 19, 2012 at the Mobley-Dodson Chapel.
