Well the flags are out in full force. I didn’t get to pitch in but I saw folks out full force. Babo and Sherry had the cemetery covered. I saw Carl and Mr. Hale at the 4-way posting the colors. Salute!

On Friday June 2nd, we will pick up flags on Main Street and Highway 99 & 20, meeting at the Hut at 9:00 Am and proceeding from there. Pick up at the cemetery will be June 5th. Will need as many as possible to help with that so volunteers are welcome. A special thanks to everyone who showed up to put out the flags at the cemetery and on Main Street and Highway 99 & 20. 7. Next Legion meeting will be Thursday June 1, 2017 at the Hut at 7:00 pm the current plan is dinner at 6 pm. The second meeting in June will Thursday June 15, 2017.

We will fly the flag for Flag Day June 14th and Father’s Day June 18th. So, we will put flags out on Main Street on Friday June 9th at 9:00am and pick up on Monday June 19th after the morning breakfast.

Don’t forget our regular meetings continue the first and third Thursdays of the month at 7:00 PM. Monday morning Koffee Klatch meetings in June are still scheduled for biscuits and gravy and maybe a waffle or two and always a cup of Joe (coffee to the civilians). Keep your eye on the weather in case things have to be postponed. That will be most likely if the storms bring strong winds and lightning. If you are a veteran come on by.
